Yes, Florida is first. It is the first state to require drug testing when applying for welfare. The new law is due to take effect July 1st.
People are undoubtedly going to squeal. It's OK to drug test people who work for their money. This seems quite fair to Ol' BC. Thank you Florida!

Awww ... poor freaking babies.
Yet, as you correctly pointed out, many jobs require drug testing, and prospective employee can be denied employment on the basis of the test.
So should it be for those on the dole.
