Bailout Doomed Early
I'm sure there will be a deal struck and more than likely, no matter how noble the intentions of those who vote for it, it will suck in the long run. This piece gives a somewhat slanted view. But it includes this little tidbit. . .
Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., chairman of the Financial Services Committee and a
leading negotiator in crafting the compromise bill, blamed breakaway Republicans
for killing the plan.
This is the same Barney Frank, nutcase supreme, that totally disregarded the warnings in 2003 and later. In the post below you can hear him say that there is no crisis on the horizon regarding Fannie and Freddie and if they failed the government wouldn't bail them out. NOW HE'S CRAFTING THE BILL. Hmmmm. We don't see much of that being played on newscasts across the country nowadays. They just keep blaming Bush and never mention his administration's warnings.
Just an observation.
