Joe Biden - Bad Memory, Misstates Facts, V.P.?
This New York Times piece has many conservatives praying he'll be B. Hussein Obama's vice-presidential selection. Wow! This could be a field day for average Americans and have the left squirming steadily until election day.
Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. issued a formal statement today acknowledging that he
had misstated several facts about his past last April in a campaign appearance
in New Hampshire.

The tape, which was made available by C-SPAN in response to a reporter's
request, showed a testy exchange in response to a question about his law school
record from a man identified only as ''Frank.'' Mr. Biden looked at his
questioner and said: ''I think I have a much higher I.Q. than you do.''
He
then went on to say that he ''went to law school on a full academic scholarship
- the only one in my class to have a full academic scholarship,'' Mr. Biden
said. He also said that he ''ended up in the top half'' of his class and won a
prize in an international moot court competition. In college, Mr. Biden said in
the appearance, he was ''the outstanding student in the political science
department'' and ''graduated with three degrees from college.'' Comments on
Assertions
In his statement today, Mr. Biden, who attended the Syracuse
College of Law and graduated 76th in a class of 85, acknowledged: ''I did not
graduate in the top half of my class at law school and my recollection of this
was inacurate.''
As for receiving three degrees, Mr. Biden said: ''I
graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in history and
political science. My reference to degrees at the Claremont event was intended
to refer to these majors - I said 'three' and should have said 'two.' '' Mr.
Biden received a single B.A. in history and political science.
In case you weren't paying attention, reread that. All indications are it was a blatant lie. He also had some erroneous recollections about his financial aid. It's not big news that the left invents facts more than the right (see global warming hoax), but Senator Biden is perhaps the leading candidate to be on the ticket with B. Hussein.
Just an observation.

Sounds like he, along with Bill Clinton and most other politicians, is a pathological liar.
Lying, on the part of any public servant, should be a crime with the mandatory punishment being public hanging.
I don't know about all that, Herr Kolonel, but I will say this:
Biden has been running for president for over twenty years. Can you say loser?
Bottom line: Oblahma and the Democrats are likely deliberately trying to lose the election so that they can accuse the American populace of being racist. Look for an official prediction to that effect at the RWRepublic in the near future.
Can it be any more obvious?

RWR, I never considered that angle. They'll all squeal when they lose, but preconceived? I don't know.
Why else would they do it, Ol' BC? Oblahma is hands down the WORST candidate they could have fielded. Even Hitlery is more in touch with America than he is, she is a better speaker, and she's outwardly more passionate about her socialist beliefs.
They've GOT to know neither one of them would have a prayer, even against the Republicans' WORST possible candidate. The question would then become which card the Donks want to play (gender card or race card).
They've chosen the race card. They need to be able to call Americans racists, sexists, homophobes, etc. or no one will support their "solutions" to those "problems".
They have a long history of doing this sort of thing. They've stood up against people who would force insane people to take their medication, putting those people on the streets, all so that they could be the party to fight "homelessness". They've proliferated hoaxes about climate change so that they could be the party to fight "global warming". They've screwed up the healthcare system and forced artificial increases in health costs so that they could be the party to fight those too.
Without these crises, the Democrats have no issues. They certainly aren't going to champion the real issues like the usurpation of the Constitution and government intrusion into American life. They are FOR those things.
