Oblahma Mocked In Black Face
On Turkish television, they mocked the president in black face. Where in the world are the reverends Jesse and Al? They should already be in Turkey. What in the world is taking so long? If this was Fox, they would have a demonstration in progress with tens of people in the crowd and making the talk show circuit drawing attention to themselves. Suddenly, they are eerily quiet. What gives?
This doesn't lend much credibility to the left's claims of regaining respect in the world. Well, the president did get thumbs up from Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. Does that speak volumes?
Just a thought.

Not to mention thumbs up from Germany, France, Russia, England, Holland, Japan, China, South Korea, wait... maybe you only wanted to point at the negative things? I see. Much like Jesse and Al, perhaps, jumping on the quickest bandwagon?
I find it difficult to really even understand your ultimate point here. It is akin to saying that because one student in my class hates my guts negates all that talk of what a great professor I am. Your statement is basically meritless.
As my friend, Vince, noted, why not actually scrutinize the actual effectiveness of his trip in terms of policy? At least then you might has something legitimate to gripe about.
I missed the thumbs up from them. I recall Merkel saying she didn't agree with the massive spending and the same from Sarkozy. Berlusconi in Italy opposed the massive spending. They are cordial. That's not policy endorsements. Bush received cordial and they didn't like many of his policies either. The point was just that countries that really don't like us still don't and weakening our position isn't going to change it.
None of those countries and their leaders respect Little Barry Soetoro. They are playing him like a four-string fiddle.
Well, why didn't you say that in the first place? Your second post was much more cogent.
Amen to what TT said.
These asswipes should have been looking at the business end of a Tomahawk - I don't care WHO the President in question was.

B Hussein is, in the words of, I think it was Buzz Lightyear, "a sad, strange little man."
He's a craven coward who's placed himself in a world in which he has no idea how to speak or act.
To sit there and listen to a criminal like Daniel Ortega for fifty minutes without walking out of the room and leaving the conference? Cowardly.
I'd have cut off any relations and any foreign aid to that pissy little country. That same day.
As for Argentina, were I an uberwealthy man, I'd buy as many guns as I could, load them, and drop them from planes over the cities and towns of Argentina. Then, we'd see how long that fat butthead lasts!
Why do you keep calling the president B Hussein? Are you trying to make an obtuse point of some kind? Show some respect for your president, please. Unpatriotic people who don't respect our socialist institutions such as the military, who label everyone as craven, cowards or criminal really show how clueless they are.
Instead of offering facts, you offer nothing but labels, labels designed to inflame, not instruct.
Why not offer some facts?
Don't you realize that the President's job is to be diplomatic and NOT walk out on people he disagrees with? Don't you realize there are more than one viewpoint in the world?
While I can see he has been alleged to have committed some crimes, I don't see where he is an American criminal. He opposes abortion. He refuses to deal with the terrorist government of Columbia. Also, even President George W. Bush called and congratulated him on winning the last election.
So if President Obama is wrong for listening to the man speak, was President Bush wrong to call him on the telephone and offer congratulations?
Yeah, I was going to respond to some of this, but I think I have reached the wall with some of these guys. I am utterly tired of it. What, ultimately, is the point?
Vincent,
I will give the President his due when we get a President worthy of the name. I think the most recent one was Thomas Jefferson (who had issues, but was a superman compared with those coughed up since).
I call B Hussein a criminal because he steals from me. He's an initiator of force, in a job whose prime mission is to protect the rights of Americans. He's obviously never read the Constitution, or ignores it wholesale. He's a liar because he swore an oath to uphold and defend it--as are most, maybe all, of his predecessors.
I call him B Hussein, because that's his name.
I find it difficult to understand your logic. How does the government defend your rights? By doing nothing and making no money? This is essentially what you are saying.
And for the record, most people prefer to be called by their first and last name. You call him B Hussein because you intend to belittle him and associate his name with people who are ugly. His name and title is President Barack Hussein Obama. You call him B Hussein because, like all control freaks, you understand that there is power in naming things, that by naming others according to our own will, we control and define them. It is petty and juvenile.
Mark,
The government should defend my rights by unconditionally guaranteeing my (and your) right to life, liberty and property. It does so by being a defensive force against those who would violate these rights.
I'd never say that government should have no money. Government shouldn't be able to use force to steal money. Any government agent must follow every law that each of us must follow.
I'd recommend they start with fees for services. They can ask for donations. Churches all over the world thrive by means of donations. Check out Vatican City when you have a minute.
As for respect for B Hussein, what respect? He's a liar and a thief. And a murderer--as are almost all (maybe all) of his predecessors. He has paid no attention to his Oath of Office since fumbling over its words during his coronation.
You want me to respect that?
