Pork In Senate Bailout Bill

Here's a list of some pork in the Senate bailout bill passed last night. This is a 400 plus page bill with earmarks added to essentially what was a three (3) page house bill. This is a huge part of what is wrong with government in Washington.

Some of this fat in the bill may have some merit, but it should have been debated independently. This is a big part of why the United States has trillions of dollars of debt.

I wonder if any of this will be mentioned in any debates leading up to the election.

Just a thought.

It's not going to stop until Americans stop voting for these clowns.

That's the reason the first bailout bill failed: not enough pork. I agree with RWR. Stop voting for the bastards. Vote for no incumbent!

I'll vote for an incumbent if he's doing the right things.

Unfortunately, there aren't very many of them.

The incumbents I have access to are all Donk weasels, so I won't be voting for them, but I'd vote for any number of federalist-minded folks that are out there.

We NEED to vote for the incumbents who are doing the right things, and elect more strong conservatives to work by their side.

What people need to start doing is voting by record and rhetoric instead of party affiliation. In general, Republicans have become Democrats, and Democrats have become worse than ever. Still, there are good people in DC (though admittedly few and far between), and THOSE people need to be kept there to fight the good fight!
