Studds Dies
Headlines refer to him as "first openly gay congressman." One has to dig deep to find what the real story was.
In 1983, Studds acknowledged his homosexuality after the page revealed he’d had
a relationship with Studds a decade earlier, when the page was 17.
Interesting to see how this is treated versus the Foley fiasco. Can you say night and day?
Studds was first elected in 1972 and represented Cape Cod and the Islands, New
Bedford, and the South Shore for 12 Congressional terms. He retired from
Congress in 1997.
Retired in 1997, fourteen (14) years after admitting buggering a minor. Like I said, interesting to compare the outrage of the Donks and the media.
Just an observation.

The huge difference is on the part of the press. The Donks certainly are playing politics with a significantly less offensive issue than Studds. The press, however, pretty much gave him a pass as well as Clinton. It started because he got his dick sucked, but it continued because he perjured himself in front of a grand jury. Again, the Democrat got a pass from the press.
But then, who would we have to think for us?
Good, I guess. Honda business has about doubled. Looks like big remodel coming down the pike. Could be interesting. But then again, expenses have to rise, assholes get tight, etc etc etc. So who really knows.
