Clinton Has A "Carter Moment"
Wow. Democrats everywhere revere former president Bill Clinton. Some of them will even acknowledge that Jimmy Carter was the worst president in this nation's history. Now, Clinton is using some of Carter's logic according to
this article.
"We just have to slow down our economy and cut back our greenhouse gas emissions
'cause we have to save the planet for our grandchildren."
Carter felt the need to slow down the economy and it led to 22% prime rate, historic inflation levels and unemployment galore. How could Clinton even think such a thing. He must not remember it took Ronald Reagan an entire term to undo Carter's damage and return the nation to prosperity. He set the nation on a path of growth that carried into the new millennium. Clinton and Bush benefited from Reagan's efforts and obviously Bill Clinton doesn't get it.
Just an observation.

Clinton is and was an idiot. Carter is and was an idiot. Do you remember his (Carter’s) Playboy interview years ago? He made a quote about "Lusting in his heart." This sounds just as crazy today as it did them. Hell, Clinton would just say he lusted with his whole body and acted on it.
Clinton's success was a direct result of Reagan. In my book, Reagan was in the top 3, if not the BEST President in the history of our country.
At the other end of the spectrum, Clinton and Carter were the two WORST Presidents in the history of our country.
