Teaparty Closer To Average Joe Than Congress

No kidding. People feel that the average Tea Party member has a better understanding of the issues than the average member of Congress. Significantly, according to this.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of U.S.
voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better
understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of
Congress. Only 30% believe that those in Congress have a better understanding of
the key issues facing the nation.

Fifty-two to thirty. That is a decisive whipping. Another case for Congressional term limits.

Just a thought.

Enforcement Mechanism May Be Lacking.

Maybe Congress should have taken the time to read the massive health insurance bill before jamming it through. It appears that there may be a kink ot two.

The penalty applies to any period the individual does not maintain minimum
essential coverage and is determined monthly. The penalty is assessed through
the Code and accounted for as an additional amount of Federal tax owed. However, it is not
subject to the enforcement provisions of subtitle F of the Code. The use of
liens and seizures otherwise authorized for collection of taxes does not apply
to the collection of this penalty. Non-compliance with the personal
responsibility requirement to have health coverage is not subject to criminal or
civil penalties under the Code and interest does not accrue for failure to pay
such assessments in a timely manner.

Oh. . .my. . .Claude! It's right here.

Just an observation.

Murders Four Times Higher Under Chavez

Hugo baby! Your people are killing each other at a much higher rate than before you came on the scene. What up with that? This article says it's four times worse.

Now here's the kicker. Read this carefully then think about it.

Chavez says he is doing his best to combat crime, which he blames on wealth
inequalities caused by former governments.

Former governments? You seem to be stealing the people's wealth and the murder rate is going up not down. Maybe instead of blaming former governments you could just blame Bush. It worked here for a little while. Hell, Obama is still trying it from time to time.

Just an observation.
