French Bashing Could Be Ending

Funny how those things work. The French, who Ol' BC really had the ass for not too long ago, recently elected Nicolas Sarkozy. How would that change one's perspective? Logical question. Sarkozy is the son of a man who fled Hungary when they were invaded by the Soviet Union and settled in France. He campaigned on a platform of repairing relations with the United States as well as cutting back on the nanny state socialism of France. Amazingly, he was elected by a comfortable margin. Why? French socialism was failing miserably as is the case in most countries who've embraced it for some time. He preached more work, less taxes and controlled immigration to stimulate an economy which had been stagnant or shrinking for a good while.

This reminds Ol' BC of another such story - Angela Merkel in Germany. First female Chancellor. Here's a lady who grew up in communist East Germany. She ran on a platform of repairing relations with the United States as well as cutting taxes and growing the horrid German economy whose unemployment had reached well into double digits. Germany was failing and Merkel knew why. Socialism.

Here's the question of the day. Why don't we hear more about these European leaders who are saying kind things about the U.S.? The media in the U.S. is focused on reporting anything negative about our country.

And get this, folks. The United States seems ready to elect Hitlery Clinton, who happens to be running on a platform that nearly doomed France and Germany, as our next president and the media in this country is doing everything possible to make it happen.

Just an observation.

Hugo Chavez Badmouths Catholic Church

Our ol' buddy Hugo says the leadership of the Catholic Church in Venezuela is "morally unacceptable" since they don't support his moves to be voted in as a dictator according to this account.

Chavez's reform plan, which voters are expected to approve in a December
referendum, also includes allowing security forces to detain citizens without
charge during political "emergencies" or major natural disasters.

This in addition to scrapping term limits. Sounds somewhat dangerous to Ol' BC, but maybe this explains Hitlery's facination with the guy. After all he is going to toss a little oil money to the poor folk in Venezuela. Like Hitlery's welfare plans, it's not enough for them to improve their standard of living. It's only enough to insure the votes.

Global Warming - Theory Debunked

Thank goodness there are a few real scientists left. One of them, Dr. William Gray, doesn't hesitate to point out the falsehoods of the Algore and his buddies, at least according to this article.

Dr Gray, whose annual forecasts of the number of tropical storms and
hurricanes are widely publicised, said a natural cycle of ocean water
temperatures - related to the amount of salt in ocean water - was responsible
for the global warming that he acknowledges has taken place.
However, he
said, that same cycle meant a period of cooling would begin soon and last for
several years.
"We'll look back on all of this in 10 or 15 years and realise
how foolish it was," Dr Gray said.

Wow! No wonder this guy gets virtually no ink in the main stream media. He is 180 degrees from the crap they are spewing. The difference - Dr. Gray is a scientist and a well respected one at that. He understands these cycles in global tempuratures.

Dr. Gray goes on to say -

"It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something
they know is wrong," he said. "But they also know that they'd never get any
grants if they spoke out. I don't care about grants."

Hmmmm. Could this garbage be about money? Imagine that. Maybe Dr. Gray should make a movie.

Just a thought.

Indianapolis To Cater To Muslims

A big todo is being made of the footbaths for Muslims to wash their feet prior to prayer that are planned for the airport currently under construction in Indianapolis. As one would expect the nutty wild eyed columnist seems to approve or at least criticizes the outcry of local residents.

Ablution, the ritual washing of hands, face, arms and feet, is a requirement for
Muslims before prayer. More than 100 Muslim cab drivers have been washing their
feet in the regular sink in the taxi restroom or going outside with bottles of
water. Since special foot sinks are more hygienic, the airport authority says
that installing them is in the interest of public health.

I thought religious symbols and practices were taboo on government and certain public grounds thanks to the ACLU and its pals because it made some folks feel uncomfortable. Now suddenly it appears we are taking steps to encourage such religious rituals at the Indianapolis International Airport. The airport maintains that since it takes government money only for certain aviation related expenses this should be alright. Bulls**t! Believe it or not, the ACLU decided not to challenge in other cases of footbaths in government or tax supported facilities. Hmmm. Agenda? It's been mentioned over and again. Here's more ammo.

Here is an opportune time for the anti-American liberals to try to appear that they are sincere in their beliefs regarding separation of church and state, no matter how erroneous their beliefs may be, and they dropped the ball. Guess that lends a little more credibility to the agenda theory as if there isn't enough evidence already.

Just an observation.

Take This Test!

Delftsman posted a little test that proved quite interesting. Take it here. It's only six questions and takes very little time. Take a minute and check it out. Some of you may be somewhat enlightened.

German Soccer Controversy

Every time people begin to think that the radical Islam attitude is confined to "extremists" the so called regular Moooooslems reconfirm the fact that it tends to be much more widespread. This time the controversy is in Germany. A German soccer player of Iranian heritage refuses to accompany his team to Israel for a European Championship qualifier.

"I have more Iranian than German blood in my veins," he said in a report
published Tuesday. "That should be respected, and besides I'm doing this out of
respect. My parents are Iranian."
Dejagah was born in Tehran, but later
moved with his parents to Germany. He holds a German passport.Iranian citizens
have been forbidden from traveling to Israel ever since the 1979 Islamic
Revolution, the point from which Iran also began to refuse to recognize Israel's
right to exist.

Here's the story. It just seems to Ol' BC that all this talk of "mainstream" Mooooslems not sharing all these radical views just seems to continue to be discredited. All indications are the radical and racists views against Jews and the nation of Israel are quite prevalent in the Mooooslem population all over the world. This one is just another example. For some unknown reason (possibly fear?) the press continues to excuse it. How in the world would this type of attitude be tolerated if it were American Anglo Saxon protestants carrying on like this against Jews or Mooooslems or African Americans or Asians or Latinos?

Just a thought.

Good News Not Reported - It's Confirmed

We've known for a long time good news from Iraq isn't reported. Ol' BC hears it from some who have returned from their tours of duty. Jawa had this. I stumbled across it while doing my regular blog reads. It is simply amazing that the libs would be so blatant in their refusal to report the truth. The link has a video as well. Could there be an agenda? Duh!!
